The Chase TravelPlus® Visa® Card is perfect if you travel often and would like to take extreme advantage of the rewards program with a great low annual fee. You can earn one mile for every dollar that you spend on general purchases online or off and two miles for every dollar spent on travel. Miles are redeemable for a variety of excellent travel rewards, such as free airline flights, hotel stays, and auto rentals. You can even get an unlimited amount of miles with no blackout dates or aircraft seating restrictions. The Chase TravelPlus® Visa® Card gives an interest-free introductory period for purchases and balance transfers, and the rate for purchases and balance transfers is about average once the introductory period comes to an end.

Basically, you will receive two miles for each dollar of net (not gross) purchases made at retail locals that have their merchant location for Visa/MasterCard classified as an airline, car rental agency, or a lodging (motel, hotel, etc.) establishment. It is important to note that online and catalog purchases are not eligible to receive the 2 miles credited unless the merchants have correctly labeled and billed the transactions as required. Chase as a rule does not determine itself whether merchants correctly identify and billed the transactions as being made at locations in each particular required category. However, Chase does reserve the right to determine which purchases qualify for the 2 miles in any case. You will earn 1 mile for each $1 of all other net purchases with the Chase TravelPlus Visa Card. Sadly, you do not earn miles on balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like transactions such as travelers checks, foreign currency, and money orders, any checks that are used to access your account, overdraft advances, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including fees for products that protect or insure the balances of your account. There is no maximum number of miles that you can earn in the program. It is most important that you review the program rules and regulations which will be mailed to you after you have applied for the card if you have been approved.

It is important to note that Chase card members who at this moment have or have had in the past a Chase credit card in this reward scheme or have received a similar bonus offer from the folks at Chase, may not be eligible for another Chase credit card in the same type of rewards program, or for the Chase TravelPlus Visa offer. Card members of Chase that are currently receiving promotional pricing, or card members with a documented history of just using their current or prior Chase card for promotional pricing offers, are not eligible for a second Chase credit card with promotional pricing as well.
